Qualifications
Assistant Professor
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
- Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed/M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks.
Associate Professor
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
- Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed/M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks.
- Ph.D Degree in Education or in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
Professor /Principal (Head)
- Postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization.
- Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed/M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks.
- Ph.D Degree in Education or in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization. An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
- At least 10 years of teaching experience in University Department of Education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M.Ed. level with published with in the area of specialization.
- Assistant Professor (Physical Education)
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed/M.P.E., recognized by NCTE) with minimum of 55% marks.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar testaccredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
Candidates should meet the latest NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) norms.
