Third Round Offline Counseling for Selection of Candidates for Admission into the 1st Year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) Course in Pharmacy Institutes affiliated with Three Government Medical Colleges of Assam – Session 2023
For the attention of all candidates who participated in the Common Entrance Examination, 2023, organized by the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences for admission into the 1st-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) course at the Institutes of Pharmacy affiliated with the three Government Medical Colleges of Assam for the 2023 session, the third round of offline counseling to select candidates for the remaining seats in the 1st-year D. Pharm course has been scheduled for November 6, 2023, as per the following schedule.
Candidates applying under various reserved categories are required to present the original certificates/testimonials issued by the competent authority before the Selection Board during the counseling session. Candidates listed in the Merit list of CEE’2023, ranked by merit and category, and who meet all eligibility criteria for admission into the D. Pharm course are hereby invited to participate in the offline counseling session for the 2023 session.
Candidates who have already been admitted during the first and second counseling rounds and wish to change their institution based on the available vacancies in order of merit may also participate in the third counseling round.
Candidates who are content with their allotted institutions during the first and second counseling rounds are not required to participate in the third round of counseling, and their seat in the previously allocated institution will remain unchanged.
Candidates who have not been admitted yet must bring all their original documents, including the Admit Card of CEE-2023, 10+2 Exam marksheets, HSLC examination Admit Card, Pass Certificates, PRC, Caste certificates, and other relevant documents during the counseling session. Admitted candidates who wish to change their institution must provide their admission receipt during counseling.

- (A) All candidates ranked up to 313 in CEE’2023
- (B) Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC (NCL) category ranked from 314 to 1001 in CEE’2023
- (C) Candidates belonging to ST(P) category ranked from 314 to 1376 in CEE’2023
- (D) Candidates belonging to ST(H) category ranked from 314 to 3316 in CEE’2023
- (E) Candidates belonging to EWS category ranked from 314 to 453 in CEE’2023
Venue of Counseling: Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati – 22.
Counseling Time: 10:30 A.M.
However, candidates who have been admitted and are currently studying in Private Pharmacy Institutes under Management quota do not need to participate in the third round of counseling.
Candidates must bring a completed ‘Counseling Form,’ available on the Directorate’s official website: www.dme.assam.gov.in.
