Salary: RS 14,000 to RS 70,000 with Grade Pay: RS 8,700, Pay Band: Pay Band – 2

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate of Assam, which will be treated as proof of residency along with the online application form.

Education Qualification

  • For Junior Engineer (Civil): 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.
  • For Junior Engineer (Mechanical): 3 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.
  • For Junior Engineer (Electrical): 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.
  • For Junior Engineer (Chemical): 3 years Diploma in Chemical Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.

Age: The candidates should be between 18 and 38 years of age as of 01/01/2023. There are age relaxations for various categories.

For PwBD Category Candidate: To be eligible for consideration under the PwBD category, a candidate must possess Benchmark Disability and must produce a necessary certificate issued by the competent authority.

For Government Employees of the State of Assam: Candidates already in regular Government service must upload relevant certificates.

The Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration regarding ‘The Small Family Norms’ in Form – A at the time of applying for the post.
