Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduates in any subject, including those holding a two-year full-time degree/diploma in Management.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in areas such as Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Fund Raising, Early Stage Investing, etc.
- Experience in raising capital for Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) or SME Ventures or early-stage/start-ups from VC/PE Funds, Angel Investors, International Funds/Institutions, Banks, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The CEO’s responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating strategic leadership, management skills, and strong commercial acumen.
- Meeting and managing the expectations of the Board of Directors, SVCL shareholders, and investors in the Funds managed by SVCL.
- Developing the overall strategic direction of the organization.
- Leading the strategy of new funds, negotiating and structuring deals, mentoring, team development, and ensuring overall fund performance.
- Exhibiting a successful investing track record, sourcing deals, and structuring investments in compliance with laws.
- Understanding valuation methodologies, ensuring profitable exits, and maintaining investor relationships.
- Overseeing due diligence, documentation, and compliance processes.
- Supporting portfolio companies, securing funding, attending board meetings, and monitoring performance.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with portfolio companies and co-investors.
- Overseeing existing investments and working towards timely exits.
Salary
The salary is negotiable and will be on a Cost to Company (CTC) basis.
